Netball sees two teams of seven players contest for possession, pass the ball and attempt to shoot for goal through 3.05m-high rings. It’s fast-paced and split-second decisions can make the difference between winning and losing.

The Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre (GCE) will host the sport competitions for Netball and Basketball (GCE Arena) and house the Main Media Centre (MMC) including the Main Press Centre (MPC) and the International Broadcast Centre (IBC).

Coomera Indoor Sports Centre

35 Beattie Road, Coomera, QLD 4209.

The Coomera Indoor Sports Centre opened in August 2016 and will host the GC2018 netball finals along with artistic and rhythmic gymnastics. The venue has been designed to world-class competition standards suitable for elite training and competition.

This new multi-purpose facility includes a gymnastics arena and eight mixed-use sports courts to host netball, futsul, gymnastics, volleyball and basketball. The venues is well used by residents of one of the Gold Coast’s fastest growing regions.
