Balance, speed, flexibility, strength, control and finesse. These are all attributes of the elite gymnasts who set to strive for perfection and leave the crowds spellbound.
In Artistic Gymnastics, athletes can compete in a variety of diverse individual events or for the all-around title. Medals are also awarded in the men’s and women’s team competitions, with the scores of a nation’s gymnasts added together to determine the winner.

Coomera Indoor Sports Centre

The Coomera Indoor Sports Centre opened in August 2016 and will host the GC2018 netball finals along with artistic and rhythmic gymnastics. The venue has been designed to world-class competition standards suitable for elite training and competition.
This new multi-purpose facility includes a gymnastics arena and eight mixed-use sports courts to host netball, futsul, gymnastics, volleyball and basketball. The venues is well used by residents of one of the Gold Coast’s fastest growing regions.
