Dance Visual Arts Theatre World premiere

Privacy Settings | Polytoxic & collaborators (AUS/UK/US)

Delve into a world where the screen consumes our lives; where snooping is an everyday activity and the lines of public vs private are indistinct.

Polytoxic teams up with internationally acclaimed design duo Craig & Karl and animator Pete Foley to bring you this spectacular new site-specific work. Expect an intoxicating blend of dance, theatre, costume design and colour-saturated pop-graphic visuals as Privacy Settings explores the seduction and lure of a surveillance-soaked society.

"A powerful visual experience." On the Fourth Floor, Toronto Canada.

"Polytoxic is a formidable, innovative company worth watching." Real Time.

About the creators:
Polytoxic is one of the most prominent contemporary Pacific theatre companies in Australia, known for creating hyper-visual, pop-inspired performance works. Led by Co-Artistic Directors Leah Shelton and Lisa Faalafi, the company's ethos is to create accessible, robust work with a political, contemporary and satirical bite.

Since 2000, Polytoxic's work has been presented in traditional huts, indie theatre seasons, dusty big-tops and major festivals including COIL New York, Sydney Opera House, Harbourfront Centre Canada, Darwin Festival, Perth Fringe World, Bleach* Festival, Enlighten, ArtsHouse Melbourne, WanSmolbag Vanuatu.
