Patrice Balbina's Chance Encounter With The End of The World | Australian Theatre for Young People (AUS), Elsinor Teatro (ITL), Teatro Bando (PORT), Pilot (UK), DynamO Theatre (CAN) and Presentation House Theatre (CAN).

What’s it like to leave your home and flee to another country? Follow the experience of a refugee told through the eyes of a 12-year-old girl.

As the world experiences the greatest displacement of people since World War Two, this new international story reflects on the contrasting fragility and resilience of the human spirit.

Devised by an international creative team lead by the Australian Theatre for Young People (ATYP), this story was born from intensive research among young people in three different continents.

“AYTP (is)… speaking articulately to the hearts and minds of audience members of all ages.” Upstaged reviews.com.

Recommended for ages 8+ years
