Paces, Lastlings, Austen

A night of new wave Gold Coast-grown electronic music, headlined by the innovative and summery vibes of Paces.

Paces burst boldly into 2017 with single 'Savage' featuring Nyne, which accumulated seven million Spotify streams and spurred a sold-out national tour including supports for Marshmello and Illy.

The Gold Coast producer also recently announced his first full run of live performances in support of latest single 'Creepin' and that he will be joined by Brisbane producer Feki and Sydney singer Muki.

"When I made Creepin I was just trying to make the most hyper, fun track to play at my shows. Something for my dancers on stage and something for the Pacey Peeps to wile out to!" Paces.

Lastlings unique brand of melancholic electronic pop comes together blending layers of shimmering guitars and gliding synths with airy vocals to create a sound that is entirely their own. Following on from revered performances at Beyond the Valley, FOMO and Falls Festival over the New Year period and just wrapping up a huge string of shows supporting Aussie dance legends Rfs, the duo will now embark on their first headline ticketed run around the country touring their new 'Verses' EP. 'Urges' out on February 20th will be the next taste of the much-anticipated sophomore EP which also includes the pair's impressively striking 2016 hit 'You'.

Blending alternative writing roots with spacious synths, Austen's hook-laden art pop creates a sonic atmosphere that draws comparisons to contemporaries like Broods, Alison Wonderland, Halsey, Banks and Flume, housing a writing style that plays between introspective and surreal. With two acclaimed singles, multiple collaborations, and a national tour under her belt already, Austen is set to be one of the most promising rising voices of her kind.
