Magnifika Pacifika

Get ready to party as trail-blazers Salmonella Dub celebrate their 25th anniversary with an iconic audio-visual, bass heavy, back catalogue mash-up.

Salmonella Dub has toured the world, performed over 200 festival shows and paved the way for the likes of Fat Freddy's Drop and Shapeshifter.

Dance to jungle grooves and thumping bass anthems, complete with special guests, New Zealand's King of the Dubs Tiki Taane and Maori songstress Whirimako Black.

The night will finish with Mike Cooper performing a specially composed soundtrack for the legendary film, White Shadows in the South Seas. It's a Pacific sunset-like dream spanning the horizon in pulsing waves of richly coloured rhythms, tropical sound fields and Pacific-inspired slide guitar.

Mike Cooper

Mike Cooper’s career spans an impressive range of territory. In recent years his work with music of oceania and exoticism has produced a string of beautiful and evocative recordings. With White Shadows In The South Seas, Cooper has prepared a specially composed soundtrack for the legendary film. I’s a pacific sunset-like dream spanning the horizon in pulsing waves of richly coloured rhythms, tropical sound fields and pacific-inspired slide guitar.
