Dance World premiere

FLOCK | Force Majeure (AUS)

Set against the spectacular backdrop of Surfers Paradise beach, FLOCK brings together 60 performers in a playful and stunning new work by one of Australia's leading dance theatre companies, Force Majeure.

The result is a mesmerising, meditative spectacle that explores our search for meaning in the natural world around us. Don't miss this world premiere.

This event takes place on the beach. A wheelchair accessible viewing area is available on the footpath overlooking the beach.

About the creators:

Led by Artistic Director Danielle Micich, Force Majeure produces critically acclaimed dance theatre. The company makes original dance theatre works reflecting Australian life in all its diversity, by exploring and questioning contemporary culture using intelligence, humour and insight.

"A resident company at Carriageworks, the company has set the standard for movement based theatre in Australia. One of our most outstanding, boundary-pushing dance companies." Sydney Morning Herald.
