Norfolk Island is an external territory of Australia. It lies in the South Pacific, approximately 1676km east of Sydney.
Having made its debut at the Edinburgh 1986 Commonwealth Games, Norfolk Island has attended every Commonwealth Games since. Norfolk Island won its first medal at the Victoria 1994 Commonwealth Games when Carmelita Anderson won a bronze medal in the women’s lawn bowls.
Twenty-four athletes represented Norfolk Island at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games in badminton, shooting, lawn bowls and squash.
