These vulnerable children often arrive at a shelter with just the clothes they are wearing. Zephyr is currently helping children in 53 shelters in Queensland and seven in Tasmania.

Karen is a wonderful lady who has always been there for many people. Karen was part of a group of ladies who raised funds for the Relay For Life; she was a founding member of the Pink Angels who raised over $100,000 for the Cancer Council QLD over several years. Through Relay for Life, the group constructed a pergola at the Lodge in Rockhampton for people to use while they are having treatment. Karen welcomes new families into town through our school community, and she helps those who have lost family members. She gets involved in the community, works hard, and always has a friendly smile no matter what’s going on in her own life.
