Bringing the big screens to GC2018

Sports fans won’t miss a moment of the action during GC2018 following the appointment of SportsTech Australia.

Providing large video screens and audio systems across the 11 days of the Games, SportsTech Australia joins the GC2018 Sponsorship Family as the Official Large Video Screens and Audio Services Supplier.

Since its inception SportsTech Australia has provided venue production services for a number of multi-sport events including the London 2012 Olympic Games, Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics, Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games and the upcoming Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang.

SportsTech Australia Managing Director, Damian Rowe believes his company brings an unparalleled production expertise to the largest sporting event hosted in Australia in over a decade.

“Our association with the Commonwealth Games spans more than two decades and we’re proud to continue our association with this major international event, especially in our own backyard,” Mr Rowe said.

“SportsTech Australia will be providing large video screens, video production, audio systems and the associated operational delivery for all 18 GC2018 competition venues along with the Commonwealth Games Village.

“We’ll have a team of 100 people, working across the project to design, install and operate the technology required to deliver a world class audio visual experience for spectators at GC2018.”

GOLDOC General Manager Commercial, Cameron Murray welcomed SportsTech Australia to the GC2018 Sponsor Family.
