The Beautiful Girls headline final Queen's Baton Relay celebration on the Gold Coast
With the eyes of the world on the Gold Coast, the Queen’s Baton Relay (QBR) will celebrate its final community event on the Beach at Surfers Paradise the night before the highly anticipated Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games (GC2018) Opening Ceremony.
A night for locals and visitors not to miss, The Beautiful Girls will headline the free QBR community event with the stunning backdrop of the Gold Coast’s sea, sand and skyline on Tuesday, 3 April 2018.

The significant international celebration, delivered in conjunction with the City of Gold Coast, will bring the community together for a special moment in time to celebrate the longest and most accessible Relay in history.
The family friendly celebration will commence at 4:00pm, with community entertainment, vendors and GC2018 mascot Borobi before the Queen’s Baton arrival carried by swimming sensation Cate Campbell at 5:30pm.Australian roots music group, The Beautiful Girls will then take the stage to headline what will be an unforgettable evening.

Relaying the Queen’s Baton through the Gold Coast on the second last day of the QBR Australian journey will be Laurie Lawrence, Commonwealth Games gold medallist Sophie Edington, pro skateboarder Jack Fardell and community members nominated for being local legends.
